A beautiful thing

Something inside so strong
That keeps you moving along
It’s something inside your palms
That keeps it all, safe and warm

It’s in what’s not verbalized
Lies the harm, in your cries
It’s what I see in your eyes
That kills you on the inside

It’s really what was not said
That is winning your head
I see the absence of your dad
In your deepest tear sheds

You’re a beautiful thing indeed
God breed you, as a special seed
Still as a woman you’d love to be
Your one man’s primary need

I won’t always understand you
But I promise to always try to
I can’t promise to always like you
But promise to always love you

You’re a beautiful thing … Yes
It’s all beneath your left breast
The amount of times you could have left
You stayed, remained stuck to the nest

You’re a beautiful thing … I know
It shows clearly in the visuals
Looking closely at your rituals
It displays a special Love for individuals
